Market Center HQ provides tools for Market Center operations, communication, and publishing. This policy describes information processed through our website and platform and how to contact us about it.
Information we process
We process account and contact information you provide, along with information your Market Center enters or imports: roster details, headshots, birthdays and anniversaries, events, instructors, vendors, resources, appointments, submissions, and communication records. The information available to a staff member depends on their Market Center permissions.
We also process technical and service records needed to operate the platform, such as authentication sessions, errors, delivery results, and email engagement events. Email providers, privacy tools, and automated scanners can affect open and click reporting. Payment processing is handled by Stripe; HQ uses billing identifiers and subscription information to manage access.
Facebook and Instagram connections
When an administrator connects social accounts, Meta provides information about authorized Facebook Pages and linked Instagram professional accounts, including account names, identifiers, and access tokens. HQ stores connection credentials encrypted on the server. They are used to list authorized publishing destinations and publish content selected by your Market Center.
When you publish or enable an automatic publishing rule, HQ sends the generated image and supported caption to the destinations selected for that rule. Images needed for publishing are accessible to the social network. Automatic rules can use roster information or published events to generate designs. Disconnecting removes stored connection credentials and cancels pending jobs for that provider. Already-published content remains on the social network.
We do not use the social connection to request access to your personal Facebook posts, inbox, or private messages. Meta separately controls information processed by Facebook and Instagram under its own policies.
How information is used and shared
We use information to provide requested platform features, maintain accounts, support customers, process subscriptions, and protect the service. Authorized staff within a Market Center can access information permitted by their roles. Your Market Center controls what it publishes to public calendars, screens, emails, and social accounts.
Service providers process information needed to host and operate HQ, including Vercel, Supabase, Resend, and Stripe. Optional connected services, such as Google Calendar, Zoom, and social networks, receive information when you use those integrations. Optional AI features may send the information needed for your request to their configured service provider. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect the service. We do not sell personal information.
Storage, retention, and security
We retain information needed to provide the service, maintain business records, and meet applicable security or legal obligations. Retention can vary by record type and connected service. We use access controls and encrypted integration credentials; no online service can guarantee absolute security. Backups and providers may retain copies for their recovery or required retention periods.
Your choices
Contact your Market Center administrator to correct business records or manage your access. You can disconnect integrations, change email preferences using the links in platform emails, and request access, correction, or deletion by contacting privacy@marketcenterhq.com. We may verify your identity and the scope of the request. See the data-deletion instructions.
